If you were not able to make it to the Florida Jeep Jam, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with an all-inclusive Jeep Jam recap. For 2021, the Florida Jeep Jam was at Panama City Beach from May 12th to May 15th. If you happened to be there during this time, not only would you have had the chance to experience one of the best Jeep beach locations, but you would have also been able to celebrate National Go Topless Day.
National Go Topless Day this year kicked off with a Pre-Party at Hammerhead Fred’s on May 11th starting at 6:30 pm. To continue the celebration, a viewing of the MotorTrend show with special guest Courtney Hansen followed the event.
However, these events were just minor parts of the Florida Jeep Jam. The other events included obstacle courses, off-roading, vendor shops, crawling, and most importantly, fundraising for charity.
That’s right, you heard correctly, not only was the Jeep Jam jam-packed with fun and non-stop activities, it was also a large fundraiser for charities. Some of these charity partners include but are not limited to Jeepers Preventing Suicide, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and 4W2H. Last Jeep Jam, they raised over $20,000 for charity, and this year we expect they raised even more than that.
On top of raising money for charity this year, they also officially recognized and celebrated National Law Enforcement Week and US Armed Forces Weekend, which was a perfect way to celebrate the sixth-year anniversary of Jeep Jam in Panama City Beach.
If Dunes Day Off-Road Excursions and Obstacle Courses don’t seem like they’d be your speed, the event also had an outdoor drive-in movie night where they had a showing of Smokey and the Bandit starting at 7 pm. Along with this, there were also beach days where they had various contests, sandcastle demos, and games. Scavenger hunts took place all weekend as well.
I know, by now you’re probably thinking, “Wow, I should of went to Jeep Jam”, but it’s okay, you can always go next year for 2022. Pre- Registration typically begins a few months prior to the event. You might be wondering what Pre-Registration and Registration include aside from gaining access to all of the awesome events and well, we may not be able to say what this will for sure include for 2022, we can tell you what was included for 2021.
Once you were registered, you gained access for your Jeep and up to five people, Jeep Only exclusive event parking, all official Jeep Jam parties/events, access to the Jeep Vendor village, access to the Jeep Obstacle course, one Poker Run card (more cards available for donation purchase), entry to the Jeep Jam scavenger hunt, access to SpiderWeb Shades Day with Sharky’s Beach Club, and entry to the Jeep Drive-in movie night.
Although it seems like registration comes with a ton of stuff, there are additional add-on items and events that you can purchase tickets for as well. Some of these things are the Beach Turtle Krawl, off-road trail excursions, VIP parking, Jeep Show and Shine contest, Florida Jeep Jam in the Corn Hole tournament, Jeep wash, Jeepin’ on Canvas paint party, and various vendor raffles for a chance to win over $40,000 of the best vendor products (including Rhino gear!)
If this event sounds like everything you’ve been waiting for, but you’re concerned about not being able to bring your four-legged friend, Fran Brown Park is pet friendly.
If you end up heading out to the Jam next year, be sure to say hi to your team at Rhino USA!
This year, Tristan, Ray, and Harrison at Team Rhino USA were able to make it out to Jeep Jam and had an absolute blast. We even had the pleasure of sponsoring the Sound Off & Glow party, as well as the obstacle course with our Recovery Gear. With that said, we hope to see you next year!
